Pass with the right foot, and then the left, extending a montante thrust that ends in Guardia di Faccia.

Pass with the left foot throwing a montante thrust that ends at the face. Immediately traverse right and throw a penetrating thrust to the face, redoubling with two tramazzoni to the head, ending in Porta di Ferro Stretta.

Offensive Combination Using Two Mandritti
Throw a mandritto to the head that ends in Sopra il Braccio. Slip the right foot back to the left, then pass right with the right foot, lifting the hand into Guardia d’Alicorno and then throwing a mandritto to the face, ending in Sotto il Braccio.

Offensive Combination Using Mandritto, Riverso And Montante To Sword Hand To Stifle Enemy
If both are in Guardia Alta, throw a mandritto at sword arm that goes to Sopra il Bracchio. Redouble with a riverso also to the sword hand. Continue with a montante to return to Guardia Alta. Your enemy will be stifled for fear of being hit in the sword hand.

Pass with your right foot into large pace, throwing a mandritto to the head ending in Sotto il Bracchio. Redouble with a riverso ending in Coda Lunga Stretta as the left foot comes behind to complete the pass.

Pass again with the right foot, delivering a riverso to the face and then the thigh, immediately following with a stoccata that rolls into imbroccata, as you slip back your right foot.

Pass with the right foot, throwing a mandritto that ends in Sopra il Bracchio, and then slip the right foot back to the left. Again pass with the right foot, throwing stoccata riversa to the face, then traverse left with the left foot to throw tramazzone to the face, and another tramazzone to the face as you traverse right with the right foot. As the left foot comes behind throw a thrust, covering with your buckler to end in Guardia di Faccia.

Traverse left with the left foot, feinting a descending mandritto, then quickly pass with the right foot and place your false edge beneath your enemy’s sword. As you pass forward with the left foot, turn your hand and give a thrust to the face. Pass right and redouble with two tramazzoni to the head, ending in Porta di Ferro Stretta, defending the head with your buckler.

Drive your righ_ foot forward, throwing a less than full mandritto ending in Sopra il Bracchio. Pass with your left foot, turning your buckler over your hand, and going with your sword into Cingiara Porta di Ferro. Immediately pass with your right foot, hitting the enemys sword with a falso that ends in Guardia Alta, and immediately throw a mandritto to the leg, ending in Sotto il Bracchio. Defend the head with the buckler.

From a right foot forward stance, throw a fendente ending in Guardia di Faccia. Slip your right foot back to left foot, then pass left with the left foot to throw a tramazzone to the head, and then pass right with the right foot, feinting with a tramazzone but cutting to the leg with a mandritto, ending in Sopra il Braccio, with the buckler defending the head.

Attack By 2nd Intention With Tramazzone To Draw Parry – Riposte
Cut a tramazzone, ending in Porta di Ferro. Enemy will then throw some blow to your uncovered body, which you will defend by parrying with Guardia di Testa, passing forward with the right foot. Riposte with a mandritto to the face or thigh, warding the head with the buckler. Pass back the right foot to place yourself out of distance.

Cut a tramazzone to enemy’s right hand side, whilst passing left with the left foot. Redouble with a riverso feint, but hit with a mandritto.

Transport the enemy’s sword to your inside with the left hand (buckler or hand grab not indicated) and hit with a mandritto to the head, or where open.

Buckler Parry Against Descending And Ascending Blows
Beat the rim of the buckler up and down in response to the attack. (Note: most effective method is to point face of buckler towards the sword hand of the enemy.

When the enemy throws the head blow, meet his sword hand with a falso crossed over your arm. (ie Roll into Guardia d’Alicorno)

Defensive Withdrawals
These actions are listed in the withdrawal sections of the three main Assaulti, and hence are believed to be methods for withdrawing from engagement in a safe manner. The principle being demonstrated is the need to discourage your enemy from continuing to remain in engagement.
Defence Withdrawal With Mandritto And Two Montante
Withdraw by passing back with your right foot into passo largo, throwing a mandritto that ends in Sotto il Bracchio. Redouble by stepping back with your left to passo largo and throw a montante from your left side, ending in Guardia Alta, then throw another montante from your right side into Guardia Alta, slipping you right foot back to your left.

Defence Withdrawal With Mandritto, Cover and Thrust
Withdraw by passing back with your right foot into passo largo, throwing a mandritto that ends in Sotto il Bracchio. Half turn your body towards your right, bringing your sword out and around your head to end in Guardia d’Alicorno. Pass back with the left foot, throwing a rising thrust that ends in Guardia Alta, and then slip your right foot back to the left.

Defence Withdrawal With Mandritto, Riverso and Thrust
Withdraw by passing back with your right foot into passo largo, throwing a mandritto that ends in Sotto il Bracchio. Lean toward your right side throwing a riverso, and on your recovery turn your hand over after the strike pulling back your body into Guardia d’Alicorno. Pass back with the left foot, throwing a rising thrust that ends in Guardia Alta, and then slip your right foot back to the left.

Defence Withdrawal With Mandritto, Molinetto and Cover
Withdraw by passing back with your right foot into passo largo, throwing a mandritto that ends in Sotto il Bracchio. Slip back your left foot, turning your sword into Sopra il Bracchio, then pass with the left foot turning a molinetto, recovering back into Coda Lunga Stretta. Slip back your right foot to the left, lifting your hand into Guardia Alta.
